About the position

The Wireless Sales Expert position is a dynamic role focused on enhancing product sales and knowledge for America's leading pre-paid wireless service provider. This position involves engaging with customers at various national retail chains, where the Wireless Sales Expert will be responsible for selling, training, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating client products through interactive in-store activities. The role requires a proactive approach to drive sales productivity and customer satisfaction, ensuring that consumers are well-informed about the wireless products, accessories, and services available to them. In this position, the Wireless Sales Expert will gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of specific client products, ensuring they can effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. The role also involves performing in-store product demonstrations, responding to inquiries from both customers and in-store sales staff, and providing superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail sales, as this experience will enhance their ability to engage with customers and drive sales. Additionally, the Wireless Sales Expert will participate in various sales events and promotions, collaborating with retail associates to maximize sales opportunities. Training is a key component of this role, as the expert will need to stay updated on the client’s suite of products, as well as competitors in the wireless sales space. Establishing and managing relationships with retail store management and employees is crucial for success in this position, as it fosters a collaborative environment that benefits both the client and the retailer.

Responsibilities

  • Gains and maintains a sound knowledge of specific client products
  • Professionally represents MarketSource and its clients at all times
  • Performs in-store product demonstrations at assigned events
  • Responds to store customers and in-store sales staff questions regarding client specific products
  • Provides superior customer service
  • Drives sales productivity and customer satisfaction within national retail locations
  • Engages in side-by-side selling with retail associates
  • Participates in in-store promotions and coordinates with appropriate personnel
  • Participates in wireless sales events
  • Maintains knowledge of all of the client's suite of products
  • Attends requested training sessions and conference calls
  • Establishes and manages critical relationships within national retail stores
  • Develops and manages positive business relationships with retail store management and employees

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required
  • 1-2 years of retail sales, training, marketing, advertising, merchandising or public relations experience
  • Availability to work during weekends, weekdays, or nights
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have reliable Internet Access
  • Strong work ethics, personal integrity and character, positive attitude
  • Outstanding communications skills
  • General technology skills and abilities
