About the position
The Primer Centerfire Cap Operator is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging small components in a manufacturing environment. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality processes while performing repetitive tasks in a rotating shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assembles, inspects, and packages very small components.
- Scoops cups onto plates, assembles cup plates to anvil plates, places in press, and lacquers primer caps.
- Examines product for defects and ensures quality process is followed.
- Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work weekends and forced overtime.
