About the position

The Wildlife Exclusion/Repair Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective exclusion of wildlife from residential and commercial properties. This position involves performing inspections, installing preventative measures, conducting repairs, and utilizing trapping techniques to manage nuisance wildlife responsibly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and excellent problem-solving skills, contributing to the mission of providing safe and effective wildlife management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior inspections of customer properties to identify wildlife entry points and vulnerabilities.
  • Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, and vent covers.
  • Conduct minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other areas to prevent wildlife entry.
  • Utilize trapping and relocation techniques to safely remove wildlife from properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
  • Provide detailed reports and review completed scope of work with customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or related fields.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using various software applications; experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in wildlife management or pest control.
  • Knowledge of local wildlife species and their behaviors.
