About The Position

BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a passion for pediatric care to join their Skilled Nursing Team. They are currently looking for weekend LPNs, specifically those with experience in trach and vent care. BAYADA emphasizes providing high-quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. They offer an excellent onboarding and training experience, including paid orientation with a clinical educator in a SIM lab, documentation training, fit testing, and ID badge completion. New nurses will also have the opportunity to orient with an experienced BAYADA nurse in the client's home to ensure comfort and fit. The office hosts several nurse appreciation events throughout the year. Private duty nursing differs from home health visits by offering traditional shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours), hands-on care with one client per day, and the opportunity to build client relationships and witness their milestones. Client ages range from infant to young adult.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions
