Weekend Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver
About The Position

Join our team as a Weekend Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) and work two 16-hour shifts every weekend! You’ll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs. As a Weekend Float DSP, you’ll provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of residential programs. Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and flexible individuals
- Ability to adapt to different homes and support needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred/required
- Experience in caregiving, DSP, CNA, mental health, or healthcare is helpful — but we will train the right person!
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Supporting independence and community involvement
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with meals, medication administration, and personal care
- Maintaining a safe, positive environment
- Traveling between assigned programs as needed
