The Weekend Art Gallery Greeter & Assistant position at Clark Gallery is designed for individuals who are passionate about visual art and enjoy engaging with the public. Responsibilities
- Open the gallery and ensure it is ready for visitors.
- Greet and engage with visitors to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with art handling, including crating and boxing of artworks.
- Participate in installation and organization of gallery exhibits.
- Perform data entry and research tasks as needed.
- Maintain tidiness and order within the gallery.
Requirements
- Must reliably arrive on time and work all agreed upon hours.
- Excellent social skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.
- An open and enthusiastic attitude towards contemporary art is required.
- Ability to listen and learn effectively, knowing when to engage or remain silent.
