About The Position

Smyths Toys is one of the world's largest specialty retailers of children's toys, operating both online and through physical retail stores across Europe and the UK. They are seeking a Webstore Duty Manager to join their team and assist in managing their E-Commerce Online Fulfilment Webstore operation in Dundalk. The role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution centers, which are considered well-oiled machines driven by a customer-centric mentality.

Requirements

  • Have a proven track record as a Duty Manager
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be target-driven and customer service orientated
  • Be highly motivated and ambitious
  • Be a self-starter with a can do attitude
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

Nice To Haves

  • E-Commerce or Warehouse experience is desirable, not essential
  • Knowledge of WMS and SAP Systems is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Webstore General Manager
  • Ensure the webstore operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training Webstore employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
  • Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
  • KPI Monitoring
  • Constantly looking for areas of improvement in the processes of the business
  • Train, develop and manage their Webstore team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals
  • To promote, improve and maintain a professional working environment and employee experience for both temporary and permanent employees
  • Implementing and ensuring that teams adhere to operational policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
