Web Role - Technical Product Manager

About the position

Gentex is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our core web platforms, with a strong focus on identifying and integrating impactful Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation, enhancing user experiences, and optimizing our web presence through the strategic application of intelligent technologies. This role requires a blend of technical depth, product management acumen, and a passion for exploring the transformative potential of AI.

Responsibilities

• Manage the stability, scalability, and security of Gentex's enterprise web platform.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of CMS tools, integrations and projects ensuring timely content updates and troubleshooting.
• Define a product vision and develop a short and long-term roadmap for internal teams and external partners.
• Champion web privacy and security compliance and help maintain data governance.
• Proactively identify security and compliance issues and coordinate with legal and/or security teams to address them.
• Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our web platforms, incorporating AI and ML initiatives.
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML to improve user engagement and personalize experiences.
• Translate market research, user needs, technical constraints, and AI/ML possibilities into detailed product requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and other stakeholders to prioritize, plan, and execute the product roadmap.
• Monitor and analyze web performance and user behavior to define KPIs and assess AI feature impact.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both web platform performance and the impact of integrated AI features.
• Possess a strong understanding of web technologies, architectures, and development processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging AI/ML technologies relevant to web platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for our web platforms and AI initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution while ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
• Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on web platforms.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
• Proven experience in identifying and integrating AI/ML capabilities into web applications or digital experiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with specific AI/ML use cases relevant to web platforms (e.g., personalization, recommendation engines, chatbots, content generation, fraud detection).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
