About The Position

Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking a Weatherization Technician Intern to join our Energy Solutions team for a hands-on summer opportunity. This role involves improving the comfort, safety, health, and energy efficiency of homes, providing valuable construction, building science, and energy-efficiency experience. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Basic math skills
• Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and materials
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Install insulation and other energy-efficiency improvements
• Assist with home repairs and weatherization projects
• Seal and improve residential duct systems
• Follow safety standards, building codes, and program requirements
• Identify and document opportunities for home performance improvements
• Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners
• Support continuous improvement efforts and learn advanced weatherization techniques
