About the position

The Wealth Management Advisor position at U.S. Bank is focused on providing investment, investment planning, and insurance products to affluent clients. This role involves assessing clients' financial needs, delivering tailored investment strategies, and collaborating with other financial services to enhance client experiences. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping clients make informed financial decisions and who thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with affluent clients to collect financial information and assess investment needs.
  • Determine suitable financial products based on clients' unique circumstances.
  • Facilitate the delivery of strategies including portfolio management and investment advisory.
  • Deliver economic and market views, investment strategy, and due diligence.
  • Construct tailored investment management and insurance services for clients.
  • Refer and partner with other financial services within U.S. Bank as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in a financial sales position, preferably with affluent clients.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 or Series 7 and 63/65 combination and applicable state insurance license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive knowledge in financial planning, including goals-based planning and retirement planning.
  • Knowledge of private banking products and services, including credit processes.
  • Strong presentation abilities and relationship management skills.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with various computer software programs and desktop planning tools.
