About the position

The Wealth Advisor III at First Financial Bank serves as the primary point of contact for Wealth clients, focusing on maintaining and developing client relationships. This role involves creating tailored investment management strategies and financial plans based on a comprehensive understanding of clients' financial situations and goals. The Wealth Advisor is responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and acquisition through effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as client's primary point of contact, delivering on Client Service Standards to maximize satisfaction and drive retention and acquisition.
  • Generates sales leads through collaboration, centers of influence, and personal contacts.
  • Develops perspective on clients by gathering personal data and information on financial situation, goals, objectives, and risk.
  • Selects specific FFB asset allocation strategies according to client goals and risk tolerances, implementing these strategies for new and incremental assets within client accounts.
  • Coordinates unique portfolio requirements or client situations with the FFB Investment Committee.
  • Delivers annual investment reviews to clients and communicates updates to FFB portfolio strategies to clients and prospects.
  • Utilizes financial planning to drive client retention and acquisition.
  • Serves on the FFB Investment Committee as client advocate and strategy consultant.
  • Completes regulatory investment review requirements for assigned client accounts and adheres to compliance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of successful investment and/or portfolio management experience, particularly with clients having sophisticated investment management and financial planning needs.
  • Relationship management experience with clients is required.
  • Knowledge of investment solutions, risk management, asset allocation, and program design.
  • Extensive experience with financial planning software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive business development experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to effectively articulate investment management and financial planning options to clients.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field of study.
  • CFA/CFP is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
