About the position

The WBC Data & Compliance Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for comprehensive data analysis and ensuring compliance across various programs and services at the Adams County Workforce and Business Center. This position involves overseeing data integrity, managing reporting systems, and providing critical insights to support program performance and regulatory adherence. The role also includes supervising a team, collaborating with internal and external partners, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for program-specific systems and data integrity.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality across workforce systems, maintaining compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Oversee data quality assurance, including data cleaning and verification for performance metrics reporting.
  • Manage routine and ad-hoc reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and workforce trends.
  • Support the development of data dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Provide data insights and recommendations to support program performance.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify process improvement opportunities through data analytics.
  • Lead projects for the implementation and reconfiguration of business systems focused on data management.
  • Research and interpret trends, isolating potential root causes and presenting solutions.
  • Supervise the Workforce Management Information Systems/Quality Control team, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop training materials and deliver ongoing staff training on data management tools.
  • Assist with the development of strategic data analytics for long-term planning and goal development.
  • Track and report on grant-related data, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with fiscal officers and program managers to monitor grant performance.
  • Develop and customize Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and community organizations to optimize service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business analytics, computer science, information systems, economics, mathematics, or a related field, and at least one year of professional experience in data management.
  • OR an Associate's Degree in a related field and at least three years of professional experience in data management.
  • OR a High School Diploma or GED and at least five years of professional experience in data management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and database management tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience with labor market information (LMI) tools for workforce trends.

Nice-to-haves
