About the position
The Water Wastewater Project Manager at Verdantas is responsible for leading and directing the design and technical development of infrastructure projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. This role involves overseeing projects from planning and design through to construction completion, ensuring they meet client expectations and established budgets. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct design/technical development of infrastructure projects in water/wastewater/stormwater systems.
- Deliver projects to meet established budgets and delivery schedules.
- Prepare construction documents including plans and specifications.
- Prepare project cost estimates and schedules.
- Provide overall supervision and technical direction to design engineers and technical staff.
- Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Interact with and oversee the work of CAD staff.
- Support or lead preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits.
- Manage client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in water/wastewater/stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager.
- Strong team leadership experience or proven potential, including managing project delivery expectations and mentoring.
- Current PE license in PA is a plus.
- Excellent technical skills in the water/wastewater/stormwater practice area.
