Responsibilities

  • Observe variations in operating conditions and computer data.
  • Interpret meter and gauge readings and test results to determine processing requirements.
  • Assist in performing routine troubleshooting on process equipment.
  • Inspect and monitor cameras, video, plant grounds, and perimeter for security purposes.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance tasks.
  • Observe start-up, operation, processes, and shut-down of reverse osmosis water plants.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.
  • Application must be submitted for Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification "C" license test within one (1) year of being hired.
  • Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification "C" license must be obtained within two (2) years of being hired.
