About the position

Woolpert is seeking a Water Program Director in Ohio to lead the growth of water services, including Wet Infrastructure Management, Water/Wastewater Design, and more. This hybrid role involves building client relationships, mentoring staff, and promoting Woolpert as an industry leader in water services.

Responsibilities

• Sales and growth of Water Market services in Ohio through client relationship management.
• Develop business opportunities across market areas to align with Woolpert's goals.
• Enhance existing client relationships to identify additional project opportunities.
• Build new client relationships that align with business strategy.
• Promote Woolpert as an industry leader for Water services.
• Assist project managers in negotiating project schedules, fees, and contracts.
• Mentor Project Managers and staff.
• Work with Project Managers to resolve project issues impacting client satisfaction.
• Define and communicate client needs and expectations.
• Ensure continuous communication with stakeholders to address project issues.
• Represent Woolpert at conferences and in local and industry organizations.
• Maintain relationships with local and state agencies in Ohio.

Requirements

• BA/BS with 16 years of related experience, MA/MS with 14 years of related experience, or 20 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Ohio required.
• Business development sales acumen and project management skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on data evaluation.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and proactive management approach.
• Ability to research and define project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent facilitation and meeting skills.
• Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel as required.
