About the position
This position involves providing medical support in the entertainment industry during the COVID-19 outbreak. The role is focused on conducting medical testing and examinations, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and maintaining effective communication with employees regarding their health status.
Responsibilities
- Taking temperature with thermometer.
- Asking employees about symptoms and documenting results.
- Providing medical testing and examinations, including all appropriate resources.
- Evaluating and recording results in the electronic medical record.
- Communicating test results to meet regulation and policy requirements.
- Demonstrating a contagious and positive work ethic that inspires others.
- Modeling behaviors of being genuine, caring, and friendly.
- Demonstrating effective verbal and written communications that are clear and well-organized.
- Utilizing genuine and positive communication to make each customer feel informed, understood, and special.
Requirements
- RN or LVN License required.
- Must be fully vaccinated.
- Previous experience or completion of clinical preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations including OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
- Knowledge of basic computerized information systems (EMR) used in clinical management settings.
- Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
