About the position
As a Warehouse Worker at Six Flags, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse operations by managing the receiving, shipping, and distribution of supplies, materials, and souvenirs. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.50 to $18.50 and provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring that all deliveries are accurately matched with the corresponding paperwork, and maintaining the organization of the warehouse. Your duties will also include unloading stock from delivery trucks, conducting periodic inventory checks, and delivering items to various locations within the park. This role requires a commitment to safety and adherence to company policies, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while interacting with guests and fellow team members in a friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, locate, and distribute supplies, gifts, and souvenirs for the Park from outside vendors.
- Process vendor invoices by verifying prices, tax, and expense coding, and matching paperwork with purchase orders and receiving memos.
- Unload stock from delivery trucks using a hand truck, pallet jack, or other related equipment.
- Complete periodic inventory of the Warehouse stock and assist with Park Wide Inventories.
- Deliver gifts, souvenirs, and other supplies stored in the Warehouse to the Retail Stores, Food Locations, and Offices in the Park.
- Use Company Inventory Programs and other computer programs as required.
- Support Park safety programs and other Park policies and procedures.
- Perform any function that may be delegated by a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- High School Education or GED preferred.
- Must be able to work weekends, weekdays, Holidays, early or evening shifts as assigned.
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs with or without assistance.
- Must be able to safely maneuver a hand truck, pallet jack, and other related equipment after instruction.
- Must greet guests and fellow team members in a friendly manner.
- Must be able to follow all grooming guidelines of the Company and Park.
- Must possess solid math skills and be able to complete quick addition, subtraction, and multiplication without use of a calculator.
- Must be detail oriented and accurate in all work.
- Must possess computer data entry skills and basic knowledge of word processing.
