About The Position

Setpoint Systems Corporation, a leader in building automation since 1983, is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Logistics Technician to join its Supply Chain team during a period of rapid growth. This is a cross-functional role that combines the physical movement of high-tech components with the administrative aspects of global procurement, offering a path for career advancement in logistics or supply chain management. The role involves managing warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, and providing administrative support for procurement processes.

Requirements

1–3 years in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
Ability to frequently lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
Forklift operator certification preferred (or willingness to obtain it immediately).

Nice To Haves

Experience with an ERP or Inventory Management System is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Accurately receive and inspect incoming high-tech components, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips.
Execute precise material picking and staging for project kits and the Panel Fabrication shop.
Package and label outgoing shipments, coordinate with freight carriers, and handle direct material deliveries to local job sites.
Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain an organized, compliant environment.
Track open purchase orders, follow up on delivery dates, and confirm vendor acknowledgments.
Act as a liaison between Setpoint and vendors to resolve shipment issues, missing documentation, or lead-time hurdles.
Update lead times, vendor information, and purchasing data within the ERP system.
Support the processing of vendor quotes and invoices.
