Warehouse Selector - Deerfield

About the position

The Warehouse Selector at Publix Super Markets is responsible for efficiently selecting and preparing products for delivery to stores. This role involves physical activity, including walking, lifting, and bending, while utilizing state-of-the-art technology to ensure accurate order fulfillment. The position offers competitive pay based on performance and requires working in various temperature-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Select products ordered by Publix stores and place them onto pallets.
• Wrap finished orders and prepare them for delivery trucks.
• Utilize technology to track orders and product locations in the warehouse.
• Maintain safety and efficiency while completing orders.
• Work as part of a team to ensure shelves are stocked across store locations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Capability to lift and carry products weighing up to 85 pounds for Boxed Meat/Dairy and 67 pounds for Frozen Foods and Produce.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.
• Must pass a Physical Agility Test, as applicable.
• Current Deerfield Distribution associate preferred.
