Warehouse Person (Loader) Louisville

About the position

The Warehouse Person (Loader) position is a full-time, labor-intensive role focused on building and loading pallets of products for bulk and route trucks. The job requires strict attention to order accuracy and compliance with shipping documentation, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position involves working with various equipment such as forklifts and electronic pallet jacks, and requires physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and movement of products throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment.
• Mark load ticket for out of stock items.
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished.
• Turn in paperwork with order for check before loading and have truck checked.
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready.
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts).
• Ability to drive a forklift and perform basic operations such as lifting and lowering.
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
