About the position
The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and building customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves utilizing a voice pick system to build pallets, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The position offers opportunities for overtime and annual pay increases, making it a vital part of the operations for a leading beverage distributor.
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders and build orders according to assigned load tickets.
- Shrink wrap and label orders and move completed orders to the loading dock area of the warehouse.
- Accurately receive inbound products and replenish inventory as needed.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate powered industrial equipment within the warehouse.
- Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Requirements
- 0 to 1 plus years of general work experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.
