About the position
The work you do as an Order Selector allows us to keep our stores stocked and your communities fed and healthy. If you think being able to do that is cool, keep reading! As an Order Selector, no one day is ever the same. You are on-the-go throughout your entire shift, using a voice-controlled system to select full-case grocery, frozen and/or other perishable products using a ride-on electric pallet jack. You'll palletize cases and prepare pallets to ship to your local store(s) lifting up to 87 lbs. at any given time to shoulder level and up to 76.5lbs overhead, throughout an entire shift - what a workout! Responsibilities
- Select full-case grocery, frozen and/or other perishable products using a voice-controlled system.
- Palletize cases and prepare pallets for shipping to local stores.
- Lift items up to 87 lbs. to shoulder level and up to 76.5 lbs. overhead throughout the shift.
- Work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Clearance to ride electric pallet jack and other equipment as necessary.
- Ability to be physically active at work, moving, bending, and lifting items up to 87 lbs.
- Attention to detail and pride in the work done.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
