About the position
The Order Selector at Euro USA is responsible for efficiently picking and staging orders for customer delivery while ensuring the warehouse is maintained in a safe and organized manner. This role is crucial for supporting the distribution of specialty and seafood products to the retail and food service industries, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Process orders for shipping by pulling items, palletizing, wrapping, and staging for shipment.
- Maintain an organized dock area to ensure proper loading and safety.
- Report damaged products or equipment to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
- Ensure quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment during and after shifts by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
- Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Must have at least one year of order picking experience.
- Forklift certification is required.
- Experience with RF scanners is preferable but not required.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions effectively.
- Must be able to work as a team with co-workers and other departments.
- Ability to identify products by size, type, or product code.
- Solid reading skills to match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
- Possess basic math and reasoning skills.
