About the position
Join Hallmark's Liberty Distribution Center as a Warehouse Order Selector on the 3rd shift, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our retailers receive the correct products to sell to consumers. This position operates from 6 PM to 6 AM, Wednesday through Saturday, and is essential to the supply chain process. As an Order Processor, you will be the last individual to handle our products before they reach the retailers, making your role vital in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our orders. In this position, you will utilize various picking methods to fill retail orders, which may include computer-generated documents and advanced technologies such as pick-to-light and voice equipment. Flexibility is key, as you will be continuously evaluated on your speed and the quality of your work through a point-rate system. The work environment is dynamic, requiring you to be on the move throughout your entire shift, engaging in activities that involve bending, stooping, and lifting frequently. Responsibilities
- Read retail store orders and select orders using various voice selecting fill methods.
- Move continuously throughout the shift, maintaining a high level of activity.
- Bend, stoop, and lift frequently as part of the order selection process.
- Fill customer orders using computer-generated documents and automated equipment.
- Utilize pick-to-light technology and voice equipment as needed.
- Maintain speed and quality of work as evaluated by a point-rate system.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to constantly stand, walk, push/pull, and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds constantly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Nice-to-haves
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, order selector, or picker/packer experience.
