About the position

The Warehouse Order Picker plays a crucial role in the efficient fulfillment of retail store orders by accurately locating, selecting, and preparing products for shipment. This part-time position requires working evening shifts and involves operating equipment to ensure timely order processing in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized pallet jack and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently in the process of order fulfillment
• Pick cases (up to 50 pounds) from warehouse locations as indicated on an order sheet or from a headset; arrange items on a pallet and stage the pallet for loading or place items on a conveyor belt
• Maintain a level of work productivity as established by warehouse management
• Keep work area clear of debris, spills, or unsanitary conditions to promote a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be willing to work evening shifts 4:00 pm to 1:00 am, 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, or 7:00 pm to 4:00 am
• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• Ability to read and interpret order sheet
• Able to hear an order from a headset
• Ability to speak and read English
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
• Basic math skills are required
