This position requires prioritizing and adjusting strategic plans and initiatives in response to organizational, regulatory, or market driven imperatives, and translating business vision and strategy into operational tactics to build the necessary organizational support and infrastructure. The Warehouse Operations Manager will make recommendations to the Operations Director on programs to improve warehouse operations, track and adjust to local market conditions impacting business results, and report sales, operations, financial results, and additional information to the management team and supervisors. This role involves developing KPIs for the assigned business unit, suggesting efficiency ideas and cost reduction measures, and assisting with the implementation of changes within inbound and outbound warehouse operations. The manager will identify problems, propose solutions to other members of management, and promote cooperation with other departments. Additionally, this role involves developing and monitoring operating and capital budgets, assisting in developing a program to train and motivate personnel, leading and developing the warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service, maintaining elevated levels of accuracy in daily operations, and operating in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes.
