About the position

The Warehouse Associate position involves performing various duties related to the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining warehouse organization. The role requires safe operation of material handling equipment and effective interaction with team members and delivery personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safely and properly unload trailers of product, verify load accuracy, and stage for put-away.
• Pull orders from warehouse locations and utilize conveyor systems for sorting and staging.
• Hand-load semi-trucks and smaller box trucks according to delivery requirements.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
• Interact with associates during shift hand-offs and with delivery personnel.

Requirements

• 1 year of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift consistently 35-48 lbs and occasionally move up to 100 lbs.
• Required to obtain power equipment certification upon conversion to full-time employee.
