About The Position
Capitol Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced team member to help oversee daily operations on the evening shift in our Litchfield distribution center. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to ensure efficient inventory management, safety compliance, and smooth logistical processes within a growing, family-owned company.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics management
- Strong team management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate inventory control and proper documentation of all transactions
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Monitor equipment and supplies, coordinating maintenance and procurement as needed
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality standards
- Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to team members
