Warehouse Inventory Associate

About the position

The Inventory Warehouse Associate at Ryder is responsible for managing inbound products and performing various warehouse functions in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports distribution across the US and requires a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation.
• Accurately pick and pack products, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, such as picking sheets and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong technical aptitude including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work indoors and outdoors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Punctual with a good attendance record.
