About the position
The Warehouse & Delivery Assistant at Yellowstone Club is a seasonal role focused on receiving, organizing, safeguarding, storing, and delivering daily shipments of inventory. This position is essential for ensuring outstanding guest service and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment during the Winter season from November 15th to April 23rd.
Responsibilities
- Ensure outstanding guest service in a friendly environment by greeting and acknowledging every member and guest.
- Display hospitality and professionalism to guests at all times, ensuring total guest satisfaction.
- Apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees, members, and guests.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all company employees to foster a positive work environment.
- Assist in receiving inventory and non-inventory items, ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality are correct.
- Clean the warehouse to maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
- Deliver items to recipients within Yellowstone Club from internal or external sources.
- Drive vehicles (truck, van, forklift) to transport orders and materials to designated sites.
- Load and unload delivery trucks for receiving stock and filling orders for transport.
- Maintain delivery vehicles by checking fluid levels, fueling, and cleaning.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training required.
- Previous work experience in a warehouse setting is required.
- Valid State Driver's License is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations is required.
- Ability to solve basic problems and know when to seek managerial assistance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
- Experience performing inventory counts through management systems is preferred.
- Commercial driving experience is preferred.
