About the position
The Warehouse Checker/Loader IV is responsible for hand-loading outbound grocery products onto designated trailers in a safe and efficient manner. This full-time position requires flexibility in scheduling and involves maintaining quality control of products prior to loading, ensuring product integrity, and communicating effectively with delivery drivers.
Responsibilities
- Load and secure products in a safe manner, sometimes using a Walkie Rider.
- Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
- Report any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor.
- Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
