About the position

As a Part-time Warehouse Associate at Fastenal, you will play a crucial role in the operations of our branch located in Tehachapi, CA. This position involves managing inventory, handling product shipments, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of the branch, including local deliveries and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
• Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, and up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
