About the position
The Warehouse Associate position at Johnson Controls involves conducting daily delivery tasks and performing various warehouse duties. Responsibilities
- Conduct daily delivery tasks to customer facilities and job sites.
- Load delivery trucks to meet delivery schedules and secure products from damage.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with customers via various means to provide outstanding service.
- Assist in receiving and putting away replenishment stock.
- Inspect returned products for damage and ensure accurate returns.
- Perform daily truck list and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Warehouse experience (strongly preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software
- Positive interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities
- Professional and tactful communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Forklift experience
- Experience in warehouse operations in a large volume distribution center.
