About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 2 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items. This role supports warehouse operations throughout the warehouse, uses basic hand tools, and moves furniture with dollies and pallet jacks. The associate ensures outbound picked furniture matches the invoice before loading, checks for damages or flaws, prepares customer orders, and ensures outbound furniture is properly assembled. They use proper lifting techniques, RF scanners, and perform quality control inspections. The role requires the ability to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs, conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and meet company standards for productivity. The position also requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays and to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two (2+) years experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes.

Responsibilities

  • Support warehouse operations throughout the warehouse.
  • Use basic hand tools such as drills, and screw drivers.
  • Unload trailers by hand.
  • Move furniture with dollies and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor’s vehicle for delivery.
  • Ensure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flaws.
  • Prepare customers’ orders.
  • Monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembled.
  • Use proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bending.
  • Use RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
  • Open, Assemble, and de-trash product.
  • Perform quality control inspections.
  • Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Meet company standards for productivity.
