About the position

The Warehouse Associate at Rexel USA is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials while adhering to company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. This role involves managing all warehouse transactions and maintaining the branch warehouse environment and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment.
  • Receive material from vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verify quantities and descriptions against packing lists.
  • Keep incoming orders stocked orderly on shelves and report freight damage claims.
  • Prepare branch orders from the warehouse ensuring correct products are shipped.
  • Process shipment paperwork, verify merchandise, apply postage, and follow shipping instructions.
  • Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine as required.
  • Load common carrier and company vehicles for delivery.
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on warehouse equipment.
  • Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Make deliveries to branches/customers as needed.
  • Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license if required to make deliveries.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
  • No suspended drivers' license for traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
  • No at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
