About the position

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the shipping and assembly operations within the warehouse. This position involves assisting with shipping and receiving parts, inventory management, and the assembly of mechanical and electrical components. The associate will work closely with senior personnel and is expected to maintain a high level of productivity and safety while performing various tasks in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving parts and inventory control.
• Pull correct parts per sales orders and review customer shipping requirements.
• Handle and pack outgoing shipments according to packing instructions.
• Verify inventory quantities and assist in inventory level maintenance.
• Verify incoming products against pack-slips and receive Purchase Orders into the computer system.
• Receive returns (RMA) and maintain complete paperwork.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull packages and materials continuously, ranging from 10lbs to 75lbs+.
• Perform accurate material handling procedures at all times.
• Pull and stage inventory against sales and work orders.
• Maintain general maintenance and housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Assist in coordinating shipping details with freight carriers.
• Provide shipping information to various departments as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Demonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the warehouse as assigned.
• Maintain open, professional, and productive dialogue with team members.
• Proactively suggest improvements to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience as an inventory or warehouse clerk.
• Moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
• Intermediate computer proficiency for tasks such as electronic time cards and operating shipping systems.
• Experience with inventory transactions and inventory control.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform multiple non-technical tasks and upgrade skills as needed.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to work proactively and positively with independence and internal motivation.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report.
