The Warehouse Associate, Senior leverages extensive warehouse expertise to ensure efficient operations, maintain high standards of accuracy, and mentor less experienced team members. Plays a key role in streamlining processes, resolving complex issues, and upholding safety and organizational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • No diploma required; Strong foundational skills in math, reading, and writing are essential
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and procedures
  • Action oriented and resourceful

Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt, inspection, and processing of shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate order preparation and shipping with precision and timeliness.
  • Handle advanced inventory management, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Train team members on proper equipment use and safety procedures.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced staff, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following safety protocols.
  • Work with supervisors and team members to improve workflows and productivity.
  • Take initiative to solve operational challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed, including loading and unloading trucks.
