About the position
The VP, Sales Support at Broadridge is a leadership role focused on driving sales objectives within the Asset Management Solutions sector. This position involves managing a pre-sales team, collaborating with various internal departments, and acting as a subject matter expert in buy-side technology solutions. The role emphasizes client engagement through presentations and demonstrations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product offerings to support sales efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 6 pre-sales individuals across New York and Boston
- Maintain a knowledge-base of current product features and planned developments
- Work with potential and existing customers on sales opportunities
- Document meeting minutes and create detailed action items
- Maintain dashboards tracking overall sales activity
- Build and maintain understanding of buy-side applications
- Establish domain expertise with buy-side customers and partners
- Assist the Sales Team in completing RFPs and RFIs
- Prepare Business Analysis Discovery documentation and presentation material
- Prepare and present documentation to product management teams
- Communicate customer/prospect activities with assigned Sales Representative
- Deliver tailored Proofs of Concept (POC) for customers
Requirements
- Experience in a leadership role within a pre-sales or business solutions team
- Strong knowledge of buy-side technology solutions
- Proven track record in managing sales processes from discovery to contract signing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Salesforce, Trello, and Confluence
- Familiarity with Asset Management Solutions
- Previous experience in a quota-carrying sales role
