About The Position

Qualis LLC is seeking a Vice President of IT Security and Infrastructure to oversee the technological infrastructure of an organization, managing IT strategies, and ensuring the alignment of technology with business goals. This position will report to the CFO.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Extensive experience in IT management, with a minimum of 15 years is essential to include supervisory experience.
Proven success in complex technical environments is highly valued.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are crucial.
Solid technical background and experience with project management and IT systems.

CompTIA Security+ is preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on software development and technology initiatives.
Lead and manage IT and Security teams, ensuring effective collaboration and motivation among staff.
Work with CFO to prepare and manage the IT budget, forecasting requirements, and analyzing expenditures to meet financial objectives.
Identify and recommend new technologies, oversee the implementation of IT systems, and ensure optimal performance of existing systems.
Ensure systems are compliant with government contract requirements.
Establish and lead risk management and cybersecurity programs to protect the organization’s information assets.
Work closely with other departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
