About The Position

The Vice President of Construction Products is responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction, development, and commercialization of the company’s construction product portfolio including G-Strut metal framing and C-Post fencing. This role oversees product strategy, lifecycle management, market positioning, and cross-functional execution to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in construction products, building materials, or related industries
  • 5+ years in senior leadership or executive-level product or business roles
  • Strong understanding of construction markets, channels, and customer segments
  • Proven experience managing complex product portfolios and P&L responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams at scale
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, or construction technology
  • Track record of successful product launches and market expansion

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for construction products
  • Lead portfolio planning, prioritization, and investment decisions
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging industry trends
  • Drive innovation aligned with business goals and market demand
  • Lead Sales and Marketing to develop pricing, positioning, and launch strategies
  • Ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and performance requirements
  • Support key customer relationships and strategic accounts
  • Enable sales teams with product training, tools, and competitive insights
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance
  • Balance speed-to-market, cost, quality, and scalability
  • Align product initiatives with operational capabilities
  • Own product P&L, margins, and revenue growth targets
  • Monitor product performance and adjust strategy as needed
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and business cases
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing products and category teams
  • Establish clear KPIs, accountability, and development plans
