About the position

The VP, Director of Growth, Program Management (PgM) U.S. East will manage the achievement of growth objectives within the regional business line covering the SouthEast. This role involves working in partnership with the Program Management Regional Business Line Leader (RBLL) and other key regional business line leadership to shape, inform, communicate, and implement the overall vision for the regional business line. The position will lead the development of the strategic growth plan for the Program Management business line, aligning and communicating corresponding growth goals with key personnel. Responsibilities include providing strategic input into major PgM pursuits, supporting Client Account Managers in their growth targets, and driving consistent application of AECOM Program Management practices. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on progress versus goals, prioritizing existing clients, and engaging with professional and community organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the RBLL and other key regional business line leadership to shape, inform, communicate, and implement the overall vision for the regional business line.
  • Lead the development of the strategic growth plan for the Program Management business line.
  • Provide strategic input into major PgM pursuits and community engagement.
  • Support Client Account Managers in the development and implementation of client account plans.
  • Drive consistent application of AECOM Program Management practices.
  • Monitor and report on progress versus goals and specific pursuit status.
  • Help prioritize existing clients and identify potential clients.
  • Champion AECOM's Enterprise Strategic Initiatives within the business line.
  • Provide input into regional key hires and participate in the interview and selection of key staff.
  • Engage and represent AECOM in professional and community organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of extensive experience in Program, Project or Construction Management.
  • At least 4 years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in winning contracts over $50M related to Program Management of Architecture / Engineering and/or Construction Services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record of leading the capture of major infrastructure projects or programs.
  • Contacts and experience working in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Region of the United States.
  • Extensive understanding of the project and program management market in US East.
  • National and Local board memberships and deep regional industry network(s).
