About the position

The Vice President of Consumer Products & Licensing for North America at BBC Studios is responsible for leading the US team to expand the ancillary footprint of major BBC brands such as Bluey, Doctor Who, and BBC Earth. This role involves developing strategic plans to achieve long-term objectives, overseeing franchise growth, and ensuring operational excellence while fostering a high-performance culture that prioritizes employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Lead the US Consumer Products & Licensing team to grow the ancillary footprint for major BBC brands.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with long-term objectives for priority brands.
• Oversee the strategic commercial plan for franchise growth across the US and Canada.
• Build and manage a team of category experts to develop a portfolio of licensing and retail partners.
• Drive retail marketing initiatives to enhance sales programs both in-store and online.
• Represent North America CP&L needs to internal stakeholders to secure necessary resources.
• Ensure operational excellence by optimizing licensing infrastructure and resources.
• Foster a people-first culture that promotes development and feedback.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in consumer products, licensing, and retail, particularly in the toy category and retail marketing.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven analytical skills and business acumen.
