About The Position

The Volunteer Manager is responsible for recruiting and engaging volunteers to support both patient care and administrative needs within the organization. The Volunteer Manager supervises the day-to-day efforts of volunteers as well as plays a key role in the development of new initiatives and value-add services to the organization’s people pillar.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience with Volunteer Administration or closely related experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a larger staff team.
  • Must be able to develop and facilitate large group meetings and training.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of current trends, resources and information related to volunteerism.
  • Human Resources, Recruiting or outreach experience.
