About the position

The Vocational Vehicle Consultant is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and developing relationships within various market segments, including franchised OEM dealerships, governmental agencies, and local/regional fleets. This role involves analyzing client needs, market trends, and collaborating with internal departments to provide solutions that meet client requirements. The consultant will also represent the company at events and maintain all related information within the CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Drive relationships & business opportunities within a 150-mile radius of branch location
• Analyze client needs, opportunities, current & future market trends to drive responsible opportunities/business/growth for the company
• Develop & maintain a working knowledge/understanding of competitors
• Represent the company at events/meetings within the 150-mile radius of branch location
• Identify opportunities to be involved with clients & vendors at events/meetings
• Collaborate with internal departments to find solutions that will meet/exceed the clients requirement
• Maintain all related contact & opportunity information within CRM system
• Comply with Driverge's Core Values (LOVE IT)
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Five (5) years plus experience in business development environments and their related areas is preferred
• Strong knowledge of vehicle platforms (van/lite truck/suv) & understanding of upfitting
• Ability to analyze and develop accurate conclusions to support business opportunities based on key data
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong customer FIRST mentality
• Solid verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are required
• Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to work independently as well as with a team and collaborate with internal and external customers
• Friendly demeanor with good energy and a positive attitude
• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check.
