Park University invites applications for a Visiting non-tenure teaching track position that will work cooperatively with the Athletics department and Exercise Science department. This role involves teaching 15-18 credit hours of S&C focused Sport & Exercise Science courses, fulfilling CASCE requirements for a director of student practicums, and maintaining student records. A portion of the workload (6-9 credit hours) is allocated for course release to collaborate with Park Athletics on building a robust Strength & Conditioning program. The position also includes contributing to a sports performance team, overseeing graduate student strength & Conditioning coaches, and coaching student-athletes while mentoring undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities include promoting the athletic program's philosophy, adhering to rules and regulations, planning and implementing training programs, ensuring athlete safety, attending staff meetings, and collaborating with sports coaches. The role requires implementing new technologies and proven methods in S&C and teaching.
