About the position

The Virtual Sales Specialist for SaaS Security at Cisco is a dynamic role focused on driving sales of Cisco's security solutions and services. This position requires a motivated sales professional who is passionate about cybersecurity and aims to enhance security resilience for customers. The role involves developing strategic account plans, identifying new revenue opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and partners to maximize security value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Drive double-digit revenue growth through new project identification and creation.
  • Forecast and report sales activity accurately using SalesForce.com.
  • Identify major projects within large accounts to improve product and service revenue.
  • Provide pricing and configurations to meet customer needs.
  • Forge high-level relationships within strategic accounts to win business.
  • Partner with technical resources to ensure technical excellence in proposals and exchanges.
  • Collaborate with the Cisco Channel Team and authorized partners on sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software selling experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience managing large deals and executing account plans across territories.
  • Ability to present to technical audiences and apply solution-selling methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS/BA or equivalent degree is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce.com or other CRM systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and competence in managing a large geographic plan.
