About the position

The Virtual Sales Representative at Paychex is responsible for consulting with businesses across America to educate them on Paychex services and provide consultative solutions aimed at increasing market share and driving revenue. This role involves self-generated activities, managing accounts, and leveraging sales strategies to meet unit and revenue expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve unit and revenue expectations.
  • Create, manage, and advance accounts, leads, and opportunities in the company's CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with new prospects through telephone calls, targeted email campaigns, and corporate marketing programs.
  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Develop sales skills and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Paychex product offering.
  • Collect, complete and submit all necessary paperwork for new sales within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
  • Address and escalate client concerns to Service Partners and follow-up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • May be required to travel for purposes of visiting channel partners, attending sales incentive trips, ongoing training, and/or area meetings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in relevant Sales/Marketing.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $40,000 annually + commission.
