About the position
The Virtual Sales Representative at Travel + Leisure Co. is responsible for conducting phone presentations to current and prospective owners, generating sales through effective communication and closing techniques. This role emphasizes building rapport with clients and articulating the benefits of vacation ownership, all while working in a supportive and dynamic call center environment. The position offers a unique opportunity to inspire others to travel and enjoy vacations, with a focus on achieving sales goals without the need for cold calling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct presentations via phone to current owners.
- Establish commonality and build rapport with prospective and/or current owners.
- Articulate the benefits of traveling with Travel + Leisure.
- Generate sales through initializing transactions and utilizing proper closing techniques.
- Attend ongoing advanced sales and career training.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of previous commission-based sales experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Passion to support the company mission to put the world on vacation.
- Internal drive to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Ability to overcome objections.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work in a goal and performance-based environment.
