About the position

The Virtual Sales Consultant (VSC) at Georgia-Pacific is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the market presence of GP products and proprietary dispensers. This role involves collaboration with Market and National Account Sales Teams to maximize value creation and accelerate growth through strategic partnerships with end-users, distributors, and sales consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Drive B2B sales in key segments such as office buildings, healthcare, foodservice, and industrial.
  • Develop and implement Territory Strategies in partnership with National Accounts and Market Sales Teams.
  • Prospect new end-user opportunities to enhance account penetration and expand product categories.
  • Transform the customer experience by leveraging insights, technology, and product innovations.
  • Utilize technology such as Salesforce.com and GenAI to manage customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
  • B2B sales experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle difficult customer conversations.
