About the position
The Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist at Syneos Health is responsible for executing outbound marketing and providing customer support in a virtual environment. This role involves delivering sales presentations to healthcare professionals, managing territory activities, and ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. The position is part of a team that collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to enhance healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers.
- Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to healthcare professionals and office staff using educational resources and support materials.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with healthcare professionals and office staff.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree minimum required
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a history of documented success
- Expert selling skills and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
- Experience in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong preference for 1+ years of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts
- Ability to quickly learn and convey complex product information to healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as a team member while managing multiple tasks across multiple systems.
